At Simply Out Of School we know that all children are different, so we have developed systems which allow our trained staff to meet the needs of all the children who come to us. Our support services extend from Breakfast Clubs to After School and Holiday Clubs, all designed for children over 3 years of age.

 

Cowbridge, Vale of Glamorgan

Simply Out of School - Cowbridge was officially opened by John Smith MP in April 2006 and operates within Y Bont Faen Primary School. Children from Ysgol Iolo Morganwg are also able to attend and are collected and escorted the few yards down to Y Bont Faen.

 

Simply Out of School - Cowbridge is currently an owner-operated club and is open Monday to Friday in term time, until 5.45pm. A Holiday Club is available at the War Memorial Hall in nearby Pendoylan.

 

The club operates an equal opportunities policy, along with all other policies and procedures required to comply with the Care & Social Services Inspectorate Wales (C.S.S.I.W.) guidelines. We are also members of Clybiau Plant Cymru Kids' Clubs, who offer ongoing training for all staff members, advice and support in all aspects of the Club and contacts with all relevant associated organisations.

 

The club has full Public Liability and Employers Liability Insurance. The appropriate ratio of staff have relevant Childcare qualifications,  including level 2 or 3 Diploma in Playwork, First Aid, Child Protection and Food Hygiene.

 

We also operate the Creche at the annual Cowbridge Food Festival in Cowbridge, Vale of Glamorgan.
