At Simply Out Of School we know that all children are different, so we have developed systems which allow our trained staff to meet the needs of all the children who come to us. Our support services extend from Breakfast Clubs to After School and Holiday Clubs, all designed for children over 3 years of age.

 

Pontyclun, R.C.T.

Simply Out of School - Pontyclun, our first franchise, has been operating under franchise agreement by Emma Thompson Emma was previously our Playleader at the Club since 1st June, 2007.

 

The Pontyclun Out of School Club was originally opened by Jane Davidson AM, in November 2005 and provides an After School facility for children attending Pontyclun Primary School. The Club operates within Pontyclun Primary School, Monday to Friday until 6pm. Children are met in the school yard. Pontyclun After School Club is registered for 45 children. 

 

The club operates an equal opportunities policy, along with all other policies and procedures required to comply with the Care & Social Services Inspectorate Wales (C.S.S.I.W) guidelines. We are also members of Clybiau Plant Cymru Kids' Clubs, who offer ongoing training for all staff members, advice and support in all aspects of the club and contacts with all relevant associated organisations. We have full Public Liability and Employers Liability Insurance and all our staff are professionals, qualified with CACHE Diplomas in Playwork, First Aid and Food Hygiene Certificates.

 

The Breakfast Club opened in January 2006 and is open from 7.30am.
